We say this everyday, “I’m tired.’ Some people are tired of
working low paying jobs, they would have to return to
school to advance in their education to upgrade in their
employment statuses. When we haven’t advanced in our
employment statuses, that means we’re not tired of standing in
those positions. I was hit by a car when I was seven years old. I
was in a coma for three months. Doctors said I would be a
vegetable the rest of my life. When God woke me up, first words I
said were,”What am I doing with these diapers on? I crawled on
my hands and knees. I practiced walking and continued getting
better. I knew God didn’t restore my life to be dependent on no one
who was no higher than I was . I’m walking now, even when doctors
said I wouldn’t be able to. They told my family I would be a vegetable
the rest of my life. I graduated from high school second highest in my
class. I extended my education to two and a half years of college. I wrote
a book, got it published, read literature on television, on the radio, blogging
literature on the internet, getting God’s word out to the world.
Everyday and night I write about what’s happening in the
world. I’m determined to be a mirror to the world, so we can see
reflections of ourselves. We must get tired of ourselves to
change for the better. Everyday take off the old man, and put on
the new man. (Ephesians 4:22-24) That ye put off concerning
the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according
to the deceitful lusts. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.
And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in
righteousness and true holiness. Actions speak louder than
words. Answer this question: do we love God? To love God
is to obey him. (1John 5:3) For this is the love of God, that we
keep his commandments; and his commandments are not
burdensome. Change is to see what’s wrong with how we’re
currently living.
To be tired of something, we’d do the opposite. If we don’t
have money, we’d work overtime to earn the money. If we can’t
fit clothes we want to wear, we’d watch what we eat and exercise.
drink water.most of the day. Being tired promotes change. Actions
promote change in our walks of life. To change is to grow from what
we’re tired of.
