I'm Washed

This was the happiest day of my life: when Jesus Christ washed my sins away.  They

are as white as snow.  Not because of anything good I have done, but for the love God has for

me.  Allowing his Son, (Jesus Christ) to die on the cross for my sins.  Not the day I graduated

from high school, that doesn't even come close to this treasure I'm holding.  Not the day I got

my first book published, though that is a moment I treasure.  It wasn't as glorious as when I took

off the old self and put on the new self.  I'm washed because God has moved my sins away from me

as far as the east is from the west.  I'm washed from the uncleanliness of my past.  God loves me

more than I love myself.  I'm washed from every negative thought I've had that I've given action to.

When God looks at me, he sees Jesus, who is my righteousness.  I'm washed by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ who qualifies me of being in good standings with God.  He gets the punishments I deserve,

standing at far distances from God, and I get what he deserves: close standings with God.  Jesus

Christ is my sacrificial lamb, who I am so grateful for.  Physically washing my body doesn't compare

to washing my spirit, because I'm moved far away from Satan to standing close to God.  That's the

proof that I'm washed.

                              1 John 2:12

I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.

Sentenced: A Position We All Stand In

This is one thing we all have in common: we all stand in a position of being sentenced.  We're sentenced

because we don't follow the ten commandments.  From the beginning of time, humanity  has been sentenced

because of our disobedience to God.  No one is immune to making mistakes.  We reap what we sew.  This

is a fact of life.  If we'd slow our actions down, we would see that this is true.  God has removed himself

from among the human race because he can't associate with darkness, which we are.  God is not interfering

in this world, because Satan is on the throne.  Satan resides on the throne because he is who some people

obey.  There are reactions for every action we perform.  God is not obeyed because the flesh is so tempting

and selfishness is circling our world everyday.  Jesus Christ is the image of God.  We're supposed to be the

image of Christ, which we don't come close to.  We are sentenced for destruction because we disobey God.

How much longer will our sentences continue existing?  Until we let go of our ways of living and let God

reside fully in our hearts.  Then we will finally stand surrendered to God and not sentenced by ourselves.

     2 Corinthians 24:20

Then the spirit of God came upon Zechariah son of Jehoiada  the priest.  He stood before the people

and said, "This is what God says, "Why do you disobey the Lord's commands?  You will not prosper.

Because you have forsaken the Lord, he has forsaken you.

One Foot In Front Of The Other

If you don't use it, you'll lose it.  I praise God everyday for giving me movement of my limbs.  But

actions speak louder than words.  We put limitations on ourselves.  When I came out of a coma, I

wouldn't allow anyone to help me do anything to help me do anything, because I knew God didn't

restore my life to be dependent on no one who was no higher than I was.  I knew I could do whatever

was required of me to do.  I believed and still do believe, "I can do all things through Christ who

strengthens me."  (Philippians 4:13).  God wouldn't bring you to it if he wouldn't bring you through

it,  you just have to do your part.  Doctors told my family I would be a vegetable the rest of my

life.  But I ask, "What does God say?"  We have to put one foot in front of the other, because to

get anywhere, we need to make this move.  No one else can make it for you.

It doesn't matter which foot, your right or your left, but you will only reach higher elevations

when you do.  You shouldn't say, "It'll never happen to me."  You'll be left behind if you don't make room for

advancements.  Whatever you chose, that's the elevations you'll reach and you'll have to live with for

the rest of your life.  The sky is the limit.  What limits are we putting on the sky.  God believes in you.

It's your turn to believe in yourself.  Just remember actions speak louder than words.  Also remember

God will never give you more than you  can handle.  So this is what you must do to assure your success:

put one foot in front of the other.
