Life is Short, Love Prolongs It

We have to be careful with the actions we perform.  We have to be careful because we must be sure

we can handle the results that will return.  Life is short: love prolongs it.  I continue repeating this

powerful statement because once we perform actions, we can't take them back.  God is all about

love.  We're commanded to imitate Jesus Christ (who is the image of God).  Live is short.  Love

prolongs it.  This statement gives direction to our actions, but not everyone heeds to it.  Life is short

because we don't live by the 10 Commandments.  You shall not have any other gods before me.  You

shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or

in the waters below.  You shall not bow down to them or worship them for I the Lord your God am a

jealous God, punishing the children for the sins of the fathers to the third and fourth generations of

those who hate me, but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my

commandments.  You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold

anyone guiltless who misuses his name.  Observed the Sabbath day by keeping it holy as the Lord

your God commanded you.  Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a

Sabbath to the Lord your God.  On it you shall not do any work.  Personally, I feel life is short

because God is mysterious, so we know we don't have all the time in the world because life is short.

So we must know and understand life is short, and the only way to make these short and few years of

our lives profitable to us is to love one another.  Revelations 3:19 Those whom I love I rebuke and

discipline, so be earnest and repent.

Better Than the Last: Proof I've Been Listening

Every day and night I write literature that's impactful and inspiring to many people.  They are in awe

of the height my literature places in them. My literature places hope in their hearts.  Every piece of

literature I write is better than the last.  That's proof I've been listening to God.  Every piece of

literature I write can be backed up with scripture because God is on my mind 24 hours a day, 7 days

a week.  I write about problems all around the world.  If I make people stop and think about actions

they perform, words they speak, I've done my job God's called me to do.  Sometimes, after I write

literature, I sit back and ask myself, "Did I write this?"  I know it's all because of God because I

couldn't do this on my own.  I must cement this fact in my heart.  Each piece of literature I write is

better than the last; that's proof I've been listening to God.  People tell me my literature is deep

because I can't stand shallowness.  That's why I continue seeking God's face.  He guides my pens to

write powerful words.  He humbles my heart to show sensitivity to other people.  It's my ambition to

change the world.  I know this may seem impossible but God says in Matthew 7:7 "Ask and it will be

given to you, seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened unto you."  So that's why

each piece of literature I write is better than the last.  It's proof I've been listening to God.

Flexing Our Spiritual Muscles

We are in desperate need of flexing these: our spiritual muscles.  Some people have attitudes with other people which escalates into fights.  Emotions are dangerous to act on because Satan preys on our emotions.  He uses his schemes to overpower our spirits.  We must flex our spiritual muscles by blocking Satan's flaming arrows by speaking God's word to every arrow Satan throws at us.  With every impossible situation we encounter in our lives, we must remember the Scripture Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.  Living by the Scripture promotes us in flexing  our spiritual muscles.  They protect us not by physically fighting but by spiritually fighting.  The word of God is living and active, is sharper than any double-edged sword.  It penetrates to divide and spirit, joints and marrow.  It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.  Hebrews 4:12.  God's word is our spiritual muscles and by us obeying him and living by the 10 commandments, we are flexing our spiritual muscles: You shall have no other gods before me.  You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or the earth beneath or in the waters below.  You shall not bow down to them or worship them, for I the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generations, but showing loving kindness to those who love me and keep my commandments.  Exodus 20:5.  You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.  Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the Lord has commanded you.  6 days you shall labor and do all of your work but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God.  On it you shall not do any work, neither you nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your ox, your donkey, or any foreigner residing in your towns, so that your male and female servants may rest as you do.  Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and the Lord your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm.  Therefore, the Lord your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.  Honor your father and mother as the Lord commanded you.  So that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the Lord your God is giving you.  You shall not murder.  You shall not commit adultery.  You shall not steal.  You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.  You shall not covet your neighbor's wife.  You shall not set your desire on your neighbor's house or land, his male or female servants, his ox or donkey, or anything else that belongs to your neighbor.  We must remember with every action we perform we are flexing our spiritual muscles.  Whether our muscles are weak or strong is up to us.  We need muscles to live in this world.  Mainly muscles to protect ourselves.  What's spiritual overshadows what's physical.  So every day we should read the Bible which is how God speaks to us to build our spiritual muscles.

Ecclesiastes 12:13
Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter:  Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.  For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether good or evil.

Problems Only Exist So We'll Depend on God

Some people always ask, "Why does problems always exist in their lives?"  Knowing there's no one higher God is so we will depend on God.  God never gives us  more than we can handle.  God is almighty, compassionate, tender, gentle, sensitive, forgiving, understanding, holy, and just.  Problems only exist so we will depend on God.  God either makes things happen or he allows them to happen, all to his glory.  God is a jealous God.  He doesn't want us to put no one before him.  Jesus Christ; the image of God, is the way, the truth, and the life. I faced a problem like sexual harassment in the workplace which made it very difficulty to work.  Keeping the reason why we face problems at the front of our minds so we'll depend on God.  We can sometimes get big heads thinking we are powerful when naturally only God is powerful.  Whose name do we call on in times of trouble?  God's name.  Problems only exist so we will depend on God.  Trials and tribulations increase every day and distress so our dependence on God will increase every day as well.  There are reasons for every reality, reality for every reason.  That's cause and effect.  Problems we face aren't curses.  They are causes.  The most powerful cause there is and ever will be so we will depend on God.  1 Peter 1:5-7.  In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.  These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith of greater worth than gold which perishes even though refined by fire may result in praise, glory, and honor, when Jesus Christ is revealed.  1 Peter 4:12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you as though something strange were happening to you.
