The truth shall set you free. (John 8:31-32) To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, "If
you hold to my teachings, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth
shall set you free." The truth is like a breath of fresh air. Right now it's smoking, causing people to
choke in their relationships with other people. The truth shall come to light. (Luke 8:17) For there
is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known and
brought to light. After obeying God, our relationships with each other are what life's all about. The
truth shall set you free. Everything will be uncovered. (Luke 12:2) There is nothing concealed that
will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. We're not free until we learn the truth.
Doesn't that fact send chills down our spines?
Knowing the truth is one thing, living by it is another thing all together. The truth shall set you
free. How long will we voluntarily hold our breaths by not telling the truth? We need to breathe to
live. Telling the truth stretches our faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. The evidence
of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1) How long will we voluntarily be slaves to lies? We're not free
until we learn the truth. The opposite of truth is lie. To know the truth, we have to live by it. How
free we want to be. We can learn the truth by reading the BIBLE. (Basic Instructions Before
Leaving Earth). That's where the truth is found, and daily we must absorb it into our spirits.
And when we constantly absorb it into our spirits, it becomes second nature to us, we uphold laws
of God, we will be free.
