Patience: Our Best Communication With God

Patience is a virtue.  It's a virtue because it is a positive trait we all must hold in our

lives to survive in this world today.  This is because things only happen when and if God

wants them to happen.  All to his glory.  Patience is our best communication with God.

We communicate with God when we show patience because we can hear God clearly.

We are built stronger when we show patience, because we're telling God we trust him.

He's never too early.  Never too late.  (Mark 1: 4-10)   And so John came baptizing in

the desert region and preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.  The

whole Judean countryside and all the people of Jerusalem went out to him, confessing
their sins, they were baptized by him in the Jordan river.  John wore clothing made of

camel's hair with a leather belt around his waist and he ate wild honey.  And this was

his message:  After me will come one more powerful than I, the thongs of whose sandals

I'm not worthy to stoop down and untie.  I baptize you with water, but he will baptize

you with the holy spirit.  At that time Jesus came to Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized

by John in the Jordan.  As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being

torn apart and the spirit descending on him like a dove.  Patience is love from God because

he is all-knowing, (Mattthew 11:27)  All things have been committed to me by my Father.

No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son.

And those tto whom the Son chooses to reveal  him.  Patience is our best communication

with God, because  we're waiting for his approval.

(Romans 15:5-6)   May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you

a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus.  So that with one heart and

mouth you may glorify the God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
