Faith Is My Fuel

Faith pleases God. (Hebrews 11:6). And without faith, it is
impossible to please him. For he that cometh to him,
must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of
them that diligently seek him. God will give you the
desires of your heart. Delight thyself in the Lord, and
he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)
Faith is my fuel. Walk by faith. Not by sight. (2 Corinthians
5:7). For we walk by faith, not by sight. Faith is my fuel.
When I was seven years old, I was hit by a car. I was in
a coma for three months. My family and friends crouded
around me in prayer. On that faithful day when God woke
me up, the first words I said were, "What am I doing with
these diapers on? I crawled on my hands and knees,
wouldn't accept help from no one, I wouldn't because I knew
God didn't restore my life to be dependent on no one
who was no higher than I was. Doctors told my family
I wouldn't walk again, but I am. They said I wouldn't
be able to return to school, but I've extended my education
from the second grade to two and a half years of college.
I wrote a book and got it published. I've appeared on
television and read literature on the radio. Displayed some of
my literature to the world in many fashions. That's because
faith was my fuel. Read some in restaurants. I always want to
stand tall in these trying times. I will stand tall because I set my
eyes on things above. (Colossians : 3:2). Set your eyes on
things above not on things below. Not on things above
not on things on the earth. Faith is my fuel. By it I live
and rise to higher plateaus. If I can see, touch, hear,
taste, or smell, it's not by faith. But if I can see, touch,
hear, smell, or taste, my faith is sustained. And that
is my fuel. As I hold this scripture close in my heart,
"I can do alll things through Christ who strengthens me,
I will forever claiming faith is my fuel. Most of all, I will
please God. (Hebrews 11:6). But without faith it is
impossible to please him; for he that cometh toGod
must believe that he is a rewarder of them that diligently
seek him.
