Faith pleases God.  (Hebrews 11:6).  But

without faith it is impossible to please him,

for he that cometh to God s, and that he is

a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Trials and tribulations crowd around me

everyday.  I throw God's word at them,

blocking Satan's flaming arrows.  (Ephesians

6:16)  Above all, taking the shield of faith,

wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the

flaming arrows of the wicked.  Faith pleases

God.  (James 2:14-20) What doth it profit, my

brethren, though a man say he hat faith, and

hath not works, can faith save him?  If a brethren

or a sister be naked and destitute of daily food,

.

can? And one of you say unto them, Depart in

peace, be warmed and filled, notwithstanding

ye give them not those things which are needful

to the body.; what doth it profit?

Even so faith, if it hath not works is dead, being

alone.  Yea, a man may say, "Thou hast faith, and

I have works, shew me thy faith without thy works,

Thou believest that there is one God: thou doest well,

the devil also believe and tremble.  But will thou know,

O vain man, that faith without works is dead.  Was not

Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered

Isaac his son upon the altar.  Seest thou how faith wrought

with his works, and by works was faith made perfect. And

the scripture was fulfilled which saith, "Abraham believed

God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness, and

he was called the  Friend of God.  Ye see then how that by

works a man is justified, and not by faith only.  Likewise also

was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had

received the messengers, and had sent them out another way.

For as the body without is dead, so faith without works is dead

also.  For our walks with God and sanity of life,  we must be

definite our faith is obese.  When I was seven years old, I was

hit by a car.  I was in a coma for three months.  After that time

God woke me up, and the first words I said were, "What am I

doing with these diapers on?  Nurses had to tie me to the bed

because I wanted to get up.  I crawled on my hands and knees,

because I had obese faith.  I wouldn't accept help from know

one, because I had obese faith.   I had determination to walk

again, because I can do all things through Christ who strengthens

me.  To be obese, I have to eat a lot.  So everyday I eat God's

word, store it in my heart.  I fear no man but God,  (Matthew 10:

26-28) Fear them not therefore for there is nothing covered that will

not be revealed, and hid that shall not be made known.  What I tell you

in darkness, that speak ye in light, and what ye hear

in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetop.

God is on my mind twenty-four hours, seven

days a week.  Physically I hate being obese,

but spiritually I invite being obese with all my heart.
