This is my goal and mission in life: to change the world before I leave it.

Some people may say that's impossible, but all things are possible for those

who believe.  [Mark 9:23).  Jesus saith unto him, "If thou canst believe, all things are

possible for those who believe.  I come to serve, not be served, because God will

supply all my needs.  I come to serve, not be served, because I can do all things

through Christ who strengthens me.  (Philippians 4:13).  I come to serve, not be served.

I was working one day when my manager stood next to me and casually said a lady

fell.  Immediately I said, "Here take my wheelchair."  He surprisingly asked, "What

about you baby?  I confidently replied,, I'll be okay, (Philippians 4:19). But my God

shall supply all of my needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus

God gave me the ability to walk

and a heart to give away when there's a need."   He responded, "Oh bless your heart

Shakira."

I  was at a ball game, I couldn't remember what game, because my concentration

was on helping elderly people up the bleachers.  I remember it was at Tiger Stadium,

where my stepdad used to work at.  A young man stood up at the bleacher with his

hand out.  I held mine out, but he said, "I'm not holding my hand out for you to help

me up, but to feel the spirit in you."   I hope and pray other people saw Christ' spirit

inside me, and imitated Christ' spirit I left behind.  I cried because I felt the spirit of

Jesus inside me.  It's an exuberant feeling that I can't come down from, nor do I

want to.
