The Higher The Goal,

The Greater The Faith

Faith is what pleases God. (Hebrews 11:6). And without faith,

it is impossible to please him. I set goals for myself everyday.

I was hit by a car when I was seven years old. I was in a coma

for three months. Doctors said I wouldn’t wake up, but if I did,

I’d have to live the rest of my life on a respirator. When God

woke me up, first words I said were, “What am I doing with

these diapers?” I wouldn’t allow anyone to do anything for me,

because I knew God didn’t restore my life to be dependent on no

one who was no higher than I was. I can do all thing through

Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13). I exercised

everyday and continued getting better, because I set my goals

high, because my faith in God continued growing greater

everyday.

I had goals to walk again. I practiced walking. I set my

goals high, because my faith in God is greater than anything.

My family embedded that strength within my heart. I had goals

to extend my education from the second grade to college. I’ve

extended it to completing my education to two and a half years

of college. I wanted to be a writer. I wrote literature everyday

and night. I wrote a book and got it published. I blogged my

literature on the internet because I wanted to be a mirror to

the world, so we can see reflections of ourselves. My literature

is viewed by many people around the the world, and impacts

their hearts. I appeared on television reading my literature.

Also I’ve read some literature on the radio. Every time I walk

more laps than the week before, I set my goals higher because

my faith is greater.
