This is one of the most empowering things we could ever do:

Repent. We all fall short of the glory of God. For all have sinned

and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23). When we repent,

our sins are hidden from God’s sight and memory. When we repent,

our sins are as white as snow. (Isaiah 1:18) Come now, and let us

reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be like scarlet,

they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like Repent

they shall be as wool. We must take every thought captive and make

it obedient to a Christ. God loves us so much, he made repentance

for us to come close to him. A new strength is in us when we repent,

because we get to start our walks with God all over again. This fact

alone should be enough for us to do the one thing God encourages

us to do everyday: Repent.
