The Hunt Is On,
And We’re The Prey

We don’t think of ourselves as being one of these: a prey.
A prey of suicide. Homicide, Terrorism. Child abuse.
Sexual harassment. Sex abuse. Incest. Fornication.
Rape. Drug abuse. These negative realities are growing
everyday. Our emotions hunt us down, which is why we
must make our emotions obedient to Christ. (Proverbs 4:22)
For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their
flesh. We’re the prey of our thoughts. That’s why we must set
our thoughts on things above. (Colossians 3:2). Set your
affections on things above, not on things on the earth. We must
wrap ourselves up in the word of God, where no hurt, harm,, or
danger can overcome us.
The hunt is on, and we’re the prey. We must allow the word
of God to overpower our beings, because we fall short of the
glory of God. (Romans 3:23). For all have sinned and fall short of
the glory of God. We may feel we can’t overcome this mountain.
But remember, God wouldn’t bring you to it, if he wouldn’t bring
you through it. Our walks of life is testing our faith. Faith is the
substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
(Hebrews 11:1). Now faith is the substance of things hoped for
the evidence of things not seen. The hunt is on, and we’re the
prey. We’re hunting for peace, and we’re the prey peace must
radiate through. The hunt is on for unity,, and we’re the prey
unity must radiate through. The hunt is on for fear of God, and
we’re the prey who must fear him. When all is said and done,
our walks of life are what’s being hunted, and it’s our prerogative
if we will stand as being a prey.
