To See Our Faith

                                  To See Our Faith

Seeing is believing.  Believing we hold this power within ourselves.

Faith.  Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things

not seen.  (Hebrews 11:1). Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,

the evidence of things not seen.  Life tests our faith.  Faith pleases God.

And without faith it is impossible to please him.  (Hebrews 11:6). My job

is to serve God.  My reward is to be seated at the right hand of  God.

Our faith has to be tried and tested, because faith without works is dead.

(James 2:14-26). What doth it prophit, my brethren, though a man say

he hath faith, and hath not works? Can faith save him?  If a brother or

sister be naked and destitute of daily food.  And one of you say unto

them, “Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled notwithstanding ye

give them not those things, which are needful to the body, what doth

it prophit?  Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone,

Show your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.

You believe that there is one God. Good, even the demons believe

that and shudder.  You foolish person, do you wan’t evidence that faith

without deeds is useless?  Was not our father Isaac considered righteous

when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?  You see that his faith and

actions work together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.

And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it

was credited too him as righteousness, and he was called God’s friend.

You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do' and

not by faith alone.  In the same way was not Rahab considered

righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies

and sent them off in a different direction?  As the body without

the spirit is dead, faith without works is dead..  that’s the prime

force we want to see, our faith.
